Cult Rhondda punksters THE DEADHEADS were born out of the wasteland of the 80s music scene,where their garage intensity and no nonsense approach soon gained them a following with discerning valleys music affictionados.their sound,likened to a chainsaw on speed could crack reinforced concrete at a 100 yards. Allways more of a live band,the only recordings that exist from that time is their timeless JESUS DEMO,which can be accessed through their facebook page, JOHNNY DEATH AND THE DEADHEADS. Reformed in 2009,the deadheads are back,now with a four piece line up that consists of.. Johnny death..lead vocals suchy..lead guitar greg..bass and backing vocals reesy.. drums and backing vocals THE DEADHEADS  set now includes classic material like BORN TO KILL and CAR CRASH,along with newer material like SUICIDE BOMBER.Although largely consisting of their own garage/punk material,their set will include some timeless cover tracks performed in their own inimitable style.
