The Materrazzis were formed in the summer of 2006 by friends Rob Broome (Bass) and Johnny Evans (Rhythm Guitar) they quickly recruited a local teenager Chris Tomkinson who fortunately turned out to be an outstanding lead guitarist. All they needed was a drummer and after several years and more drummers than Spinal Tap they finally found local drummer Steve Morgan to complete the group. The Materazzis are an indie band. Originally formed as a covers band but with Rob, Johnny and Chris all going away and working on original material with other projects they decided it was time to try something new with each other and are building up a cornucopia of indie delights for lucky gig-goers
