The band were formed in the summer of 2010 with the sole intention of making original rock music and finding their sound.  The band consists of phenomenal lead singer Rachel Moss who the band have built their set around.  The spine and heartbeat of the music is provided by bassist Bryan Seaward and Drummer Richard Keen.  The songs have been provided by the fourth and final member of the band, rhythm guitarist/backing vocals Gareth Voyle.

Although the band have been together just under a year, they have already achieved a great deal with radio interviews/airtime, a load of performances culminating with a very successful charity gig hosted by the band.  The next step for The Shoots is to finish recording their EP, create their website, fine tune their impressive set of catchy original songs mixed in with a couple of top covers. Then? Gig the sh;t out of the pubs, clubs and bars as far and as wide as they can carry their gear.

Despite gigging all over South Wales, this will be the bands debut performance in Rhondda - and I for one can't wait. www.myspace.com/the-shoots
